• Will convert to a soft and cohesive gel when moistened to help maintain a moist environment and help with autolytic debridement, removing nonviable tissue
• Made of calcium alginate with 1.7% ionic silver as a preservative and to reduce growth of bacteria within the dressing
• Designed to absorb high amounts of wound fluid and bacteria
• May be used to help manage partial and full thickness wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers, and leg ulcers of mixed etiology, partial and full thickness pressure sores, and more
• Not indicated for individuals who are sensitive to or who have had an allergic reaction to alginate or silver, third degree burns, dry or lightly draining wounds, to control heavy bleeding, or for use as a surgical sponge
