This durable Excel K-4 Lightweight Wheelchair from Medline features a carbon steel frame with chip-resistant chrome plating and a cast aluminum seat cradle. The threaded seat screw inserts are designed to reduce stripping from upholstery changes. Sealed bearings in the fork housings, rear wheels, and front wheels keep dirt out, making this chair virtually maintenance-free. Elevating legrest models feature a notched stainless steel ratchet bar. The padded and upholstered armrests and calf pads provide style and comfort for long periods of time. The Excel K-4 features swing-back arms with a patent-pending push-button arm release.
The 16” and 18” models weigh 31.5 pounds, and the 20” model weighs less than 34 lbs. excluding foot riggings. Quick release axles in the 16” and 18” models allow for tool-free removal of the wheels. The 16” and 18” models also include a height-adjustable seat back.
