ComfortFoam Border Self-Adherent Soft Silicone Foam Dressing is a Wound Dressing with a low-profile border, which makes it highly flexible. The silicone adhesive is gentle on the skin and the wound. This product promotes moist wound healing and is safe and easy to remove. In addition, it has a malleable polyurethane foam pad and a moisture-proof, vapor-permeable outer layer. It also provides wound protection, thermal insulation, and can be worn for several days. Finally, it is highly absorbent and reduces the risk of maceration on wounds, such as pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, arterial ulcers, and other traumatic wounds. ComfortFoam Dressing comes in various sizes from 2 x 2 inch to 9 x 9 inch and includes special shapes such as the DermaRite ComfortFoam Border Sacrum.
